A shared pickup can work only with an agreed meeting plan, suitable capacity and written waiting terms. Similar landing times do not guarantee that everyone exits together. For widely separated arrivals, compare separate transfers; never assume a driver will wait indefinitely or return for the later party.
Compare the final flight into PTY for each party
List every operating flight number and local arrival date, not the first leg of a connecting itinerary. Keep passengers, children and bags attached to the correct flight. Even a small difference in landing times can become a longer gap after entry formalities and baggage collection.
Agree one pickup rather than assuming one
For a shared journey, ask which flight determines the arrangement, when waiting starts, what it includes and when extra charges apply. Nominate one group contact, but keep a working contact for each party. Get the complete arrangement in writing before accepting a fare.
Different terminals need confirmed instructions
Ask for meeting instructions for each arrival. Do not tell the first party to change terminals based on a generic map or assume the same vehicle can collect at two doors. Any terminal change or additional collection must be accepted by the provider.
Decide what happens if one flight is delayed
Agree whether everyone waits or the first party travels ahead, who authorises a change and how a revised fare is confirmed. Flight monitoring, paid waiting, a second vehicle and a later return journey are separate arrangements, not automatic benefits of a group request.
One destination is different from several hotel stops
For a city hotel, check the exact address and entrance. For Playa Blanca or Río Hato, consider the longer onward journey when deciding whether the first party should wait. Different hotel addresses require an agreed drop-off order and a quote covering every stop.
Check capacity and compare complete quotes
Standard allows up to three passengers and VIP up to two, subject to luggage. Include children and requested seats. Larger parties need a vehicle-specific quote. Compare the total cost and conditions of a shared pickup with separate vehicles; sharing is not automatically cheaper.
Questions to settle before travel
Can the first party leave? Only under a revised, confirmed arrangement. Will the same driver return? Do not assume so. What if a phone has no connection? Agree an offline contingency beforehand. A quote request does not reserve a vehicle or confirm availability.
