PTY is Tocumen, not every airport in Panama

Tocumen International Airport uses PTY. Albrook’s Marcos A. Gelabert uses PAC, Panamá Pacífico uses BLB and Scarlett Martínez at Río Hato uses RIH. Check the code on the actual flight confirmation, even when a booking platform labels all of them Panama. Our published route estimates begin at PTY. A different arrival airport requires a different quote.

Give the arrival date and flight number

Send the operating flight number, local arrival date, exact hotel, passenger count and luggage list. A flight number lets the booking team check the scheduled arrival and terminal; the final confirmation must still identify where to meet and whom to contact. Landing time is not pickup-ready time: immigration, baggage collection and customs can take additional time.

Use the terminal in your written confirmation

Tocumen has Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Do not assume one universal door, desk or curbside position for every airline and private service. After collecting baggage and completing formalities, follow the instructions issued for your reservation. If the terminal changes, contact the confirmed provider before changing meeting points. The airport’s own transport information is the reference for its services.

Match the booking before leaving

Check the representative, passenger name, destination and full fare against your confirmation. Keep the booking and contact available offline and send a message if baggage or border processing delays you. Waiting, flight-delay and no-show terms must be agreed in advance.
