A taxi or private-car quote may be per vehicle, while a shared shuttle or train fare is per passenger. Compare the same group size and destination. Published car rates also differ in included waiting, tolls, luggage and cancellation terms. Our price table states a one-way USD planning estimate; it is not an official taxi tariff or a guarantee that a competitor will honour an advertised fare.

Taxi and prebooked private vehicle

For an airport taxi, verify the destination, currency, full fare and luggage before boarding. A prebooked transfer provides an opportunity to confirm the vehicle and meeting instructions before flying. Neither label alone guarantees a child seat, an accessible vehicle or unlimited waiting. A larger vehicle can be more useful than a premium car when the group has several large cases.

Shared shuttles and hotel transport

Ask whether a shuttle is actually shared, whether it waits for other flights and how many hotel stops it makes. Airport-area hotels may run their own service with specific terminal instructions. Metro and the last kilometre

The airport branch connects with Line 2 at Corredor Sur; city journeys can require a further change to Line 1 at San Miguelito. The train does not deliver you to a hotel reception. Check the current Metro map, service hours and payment information, then account for station access, baggage and the final walk or road connection.
