PTY to Playa Bonita: Westin and Dreams transfer planning

A beach stay close to the capital, across the canal

Playa Bonita is on the Veracruz side of the canal, beyond the capital’s central hotel districts. It is not the same place as Playa Blanca in Río Hato. Use the complete Westin or Dreams name from your reservation; the properties have different reception areas.

Road time includes a busy crossing

Plan roughly 50–90 minutes of road travel from PTY, with additional buffer when local traffic conditions warrant it. Immigration and baggage collection are extra. Do not use a map’s quiet-hour travel time alone to set a departure pickup for an international flight. The provider should confirm a practical return schedule.

Check transport already included

A resort package can include transport, but the room name alone does not establish that benefit. Ask the seller or hotel what is included, whether the ride is shared and where to meet. A separate private quote should state passenger capacity, luggage, tolls, waiting and any requested stops.

Keep other airports separate

Panamá Pacífico Airport is BLB, not PTY. If the flight arrives there, ask for a route-specific quote instead of choosing the Tocumen rate. A city sightseeing visit or cruise drop-off is also a separate service unless your written confirmation expressly includes it.
