Write all three journeys
For a city-and-beach trip, list PTY to the first hotel, the first hotel to the second, and the final hotel back to the departure airport. Each segment needs a date, address, passenger count and luggage list. Airport zone prices cannot simply be reused as hotel-to-hotel fares.
Coordinate room timing
Check checkout, luggage storage and the second hotel’s check-in time before choosing the inter-hotel pickup. A private transfer does not guarantee early room access or late checkout. A lunch, grocery or sightseeing stop changes the service and should be agreed before dispatch.
The final hotel controls the return plan
A final night in Río Hato or El Valle requires much more road time to PTY than a city stay. Work back from your airline’s airport-arrival requirement and expected traffic. If the flight schedule changes, update the provider rather than carrying over the original pickup time.
Keep every confirmation clear
Ask for the provider, route, vehicle and full fare for each segment, with any waiting or cancellation conditions. If a package already includes one journey, identify it so you do not pay twice. Use the hotel directory to check current names and avoid mixing city and beach properties of the same brand.
