Río Hato is a region, not one hotel lobby
RIU Playa Blanca, Grand Decameron Panama and Playa Blanca Beach Resort have different entrances. Bijao and Buenaventura are separate developments along the Pacific Riviera. Copy the full accommodation name and, for an apartment, the building and host instructions into the request.
Plan a long road journey from PTY
Our Playa Blanca window is about 2 hours 15 minutes to 3 hours 45 minutes after leaving the terminal. City crossing, beach-weekend flows, rain and holiday traffic can extend it. Airport processing is additional. Agree a rest stop and tell the provider about children or motion-sickness needs before accepting the fare.
Check PTY versus RIH
Scarlett Martínez International Airport uses RIH and is near Río Hato. A flight to RIH does not need the same transfer as a flight to Tocumen. Read the airport code on the actual ticket before comparing road costs, and check that any package transport is for the airport you will use.
The return requires a generous buffer
Set pickup from the actual resort reception, allowing road time, expected traffic and the airline’s check-in deadline. Early checkout, breakfast and luggage assistance are hotel arrangements. A round-trip estimate covers two journeys on the same route, not a free inter-hotel transfer or automatic visit to Panama City.
