The airport has a branch connection

Metro de Panamá documents the airport branch serving Aeropuerto and ITSE from Corredor Sur on Line 2. Follow current airport signs to the station and consult the operator’s map. Do not confuse the airport branch with a direct train that runs to every downtown district.

Plan your changes

For many central destinations the journey uses the airport branch, Line 2 and then Line 1 via San Miguelito. Albrook is on Line 1; Casco Viejo still needs an onward journey from an appropriate city station. Select a station based on your accommodation address rather than assuming the tourist district has its own airport-express stop.

Account for bags and opening hours

Check the operator’s current service hours and fare media before landing, especially for late arrivals. An inexpensive rail journey can still involve stairs, station walking and busy trains. Travellers with children, substantial luggage or reduced mobility should compare the complete door-to-door journey with a confirmed road transfer.

Keep the alternative ready

If the arrival is delayed or the final hotel approach is inconvenient with cases, compare a taxi or private quote after verifying the full destination.
